Community guidelines

Cookmarks is a place to share useful cooking experiences. Be kind, stay on topic, and respect other people’s privacy and work.

What isn’t allowed

• Harassment, bullying, hateful content, threats, or encouragement of violence.
• Sexually explicit content, exploitation, or content that endangers children.
• Spam, scams, impersonation, or publishing someone’s private information.
• Content you do not have the right to share.

Sharing and review

Public comments and shared cooking notes or photos receive automated safety checks, including through OpenAI. Most posts appear as soon as the check finishes. Flagged content may be held for review; you can contact us if you think a check made a mistake. Private notes are not sent for these checks. We may remove content or suspend community participation when these guidelines are violated.

Report a concern or block an account

Use Report on a comment, profile, or feed activity. Choose a reason and add details if helpful. Reports go to Cookmarks for review; we do not share the reporter’s identity with the reported account. We review reports promptly and aim to respond to actionable concerns within 24 hours.

Use Block account to hide each other’s comments, profiles, and activity while signed in and remove existing follows. Manage your blocked accounts in Settings → Account. Blocking does not make otherwise public content private to signed-out visitors.

For urgent concerns, help reporting content, or an appeal, email support@cookmarks.app. Include a link or description of the content so we can find it.
